Phasing out the Show Networking and Control Systems Lecture Videos

When I published the first edition of Show Networks and Control Systems in 2012 (after three editions of Control Systems for Live Entertainment), I made a series of free videos for each of the main chapters of the book; I used these in my classes at CityTech and made them available to anyone at no cost; I updated these with the release of the second edition in 2017. With the simplification and maturation of the industry, and the 2020 release of my newest book Introduction to Show Networking, these videos are less relevant and I’m planning to phase them out. I will close the linking page on February 1, 2023, but will leave the videos online for a while. Please get in touch with me if you’re using them in a class or something. Eventually I’m planning to replace them with newer, enhanced videos on networking but I don’t have a timeline on that yet..
