USITT 2025 in Columbus and Distinguished Achievement Award!

What a whirlwind but fantastic week at the USITT Conference in Columbus last week! I drove out from NYC carrying all my stuff for my Introduction to Show Networking PDW, which went very well. And, as I mentioned before, I was incredibly honored to win a USITT Distinguished Achievement award this year! Wednesday night I had a dinner with all the Distinguished Achievement Award winners. Thursday morning was the award ceremony, and then I did my Show Control session and gave away a copy to an attendee (photo below). After that was the very fun sort of "this is your life" session hosted by Rich Dionne of Perdue, and I ran straight from that to my book signing. Friday morning was the "Awardees in Conversation" session, and then I finally got to wander the trade show floor before going to the Yale reception. Saturday I was back out on the floor and finally went to a session I wasn't presenting, all my books sold out from the USITT bookstore. It was a great conference, and thanks again to Rich and USITT for the award! A few photos below, click any to enlarge.
