Hurricane Sandy in NYC Photos

Took a run out this morning during Sandy. We saw some street flooding in Red Hook, Brooklyn just after high tide, and some crazy northerly winds over the pier just off of Owl's Head park; I was the last one on the pier before the police cleared everyone out, I have some video I'll post later. Then we headed to Coney Island, and then took a run through the Rockaways, Queens:

And then we saw the craziest conditions on the south side of Jamaica Bay.  I've kayaked this bay for years but never seen anything like this:
