Took a run out this morning during Sandy. We saw some street flooding in Red Hook, Brooklyn just after high tide:
And saw some crazy northerly winds over the pier just off of Owl's Head park:
I was the last one on the pier before the police cleared everyone out, I have some video I'll post later.
Then we headed to Coney Island:
And then took a run through the Rockaways, Queens:
And then we saw the craziest conditions on the south side of Jamaica Bay. I've kayaked this bay for years but never seen anything like this:
