Luminaries Holiday Light Show at Brookfield Place's Winter Garden

Brookfield Place NY (formerly the World Financial Center) often supports interesting art projects, and this year they started a new and very cool holiday light show that's scheduled to run until at least 2025-Luminaries, by stage and architectural designer David Rockwell's company.  It's really beautiful, and they did a very nice job on it.  It runs pre-programmed light shows and then also allows visitors to "make a wish" by putting sending a color out through the array by putting their hands on a white monolith and then releasing it.  It's pretty cool.  The New York Times has more here, and Live Design has some information here

I have many writeups of holiday light displays here.
