Coney Island Sandy Flooding Aftermath Photos

Ol' Coney Island took a beating at high tide last night, this is what it looked like at high tide this morning:

We gave a crying Russian lady a ride back home to Brighton, and were shocked to see where the sea apparently broke through at the foot of Ocean Parkway, creating a new sand bar inside an apartment building and its parking garage:
