Team Iluminate on America's Got Talent

My friend Miral Kotb (NY Post article with her story here) invented the Iluminate wearable lighting system, which has been a part of many high-profile concerts and awards shows (great demo reel here).  This summer, Miral dreamed up Team Iluminate and has been knocking out both the judges and the audience on America's Got Talent:

The system is run using software written by Miral (who is the rare combination of incredibly creative choreographer AND brilliant programmer) and custom hardware controlled via wireless Ethernet.  The primary light sources are EL-wire or LED; more details on the technology here.

Rising through hundreds of acts on the show, Team Iluminate is (rightfully!) now in the final 10! The ultimate winner of the show is selected by audience voting, and gets a million dollars and a show in Vegas.

I actually think she's going to win the whole thing, but the number of audience votes is key. I rarely (never, actually) ask readers of this blog to do anything, but please check out Team Iluminate on the show this coming Tuesday at 9pm NYC time, and if you like it, vote to support Miral and the team at the end of ths show this Tuesday!  The voting window is from 10:55pm Tuesday September 6 to Wednesday at 6am NYC time.  You can do it on the web site, call in, or text.  Do it!!!
