The Story Behind the Photo #13: Colorado Rainbow Cows

Back in August 2010, I did a last minute road trip to check off state #49 from my list--New Mexico (the only one left for me is Hawaii). On my way back, I saw conditions setting up for a possible tornado in eastern Colorado, and started blasting north from New Mexico. I missed a tornado in Brush, Colorado by about an hour, but I did shoot this photo along the way, and got pictures of a cool shelf cloud.  More photos and a map here.
